The Seminar on “AI Applications: Optimizing Processes in Manufacturing”
In the context of AI and smart factory models playing an increasingly pivotal role in enhancing productivity, quality, and the competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises, and with the aim of creating a platform for in-depth discussion among regulatory agencies, technology experts, academia, and the business community, as well as supporting enterprises in staying updated on emerging trends and solutions for optimizing production processes, the HCMC Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), in collaboration with the British University Vietnam (BUV), is organizing the seminar “AI Applications: Optimizing Processes in Manufacturing.”

Agenda:
Session 1 (13:45–15:45) will focus on global AI trends and transformation opportunities for Vietnam’s manufacturing sector, featuring insights into key automation trends and potential AI applications within enterprises.
Session 2 (15:45–16:25) will present AI-driven solutions for factory management, including production planning and scheduling, process optimization, workplace safety, and machine-vision-based defect detection, along with a discussion on applicability for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Session 3 (15:35–16:00) will address the challenges of AI adoption, suitable implementation roadmaps for different business scales, and practical lessons learned from real-world deployment in manufacturing.
The Panel Discussion (16:00–17:00), themed “A Practical Roadmap for AI Adoption in Vietnam’s Manufacturing Enterprises,” will feature speakers from BUV, FPT Smart Cloud, and VNPT Da Nang.
